Social Dances, Parties and Other Events
Classes are held at the dance studio at Paradise Park, 3737 Manoa Rd. in Honolulu. 6:30-8:30 pm on Monday evenings. pm. Easy ceilidh dancing and more traditional Scottish Country Dancing. February 14, 15 & 16, 2020: Aloha Winter Weekend. A full weekend of classes, social dancing, dining, ending with a ceilidh on Sunday evening. We open with a social “meet and greet” dance on Friday evening. Classes take place Saturday and Sunday at the Palladium of the Ala Wai Gold Club. There is a dinner-dance on Saturday evening, and a ceilidh on Sunday evening.
April 6 & 7, 2019 : Hawaiian Scottish Festival – McCoy Pavilion, Ala Moana Park. Everything Scottish: Dancing, music and entertainment, athletics, food, drinks, connect with your clan, and lots of jewelry, music and other things to buy of a Scottish nature. The RSCDS-Hawaii branch is a co-sponsor of the festival. We demonstrate Scottish Country Dancing and give free lessons.
